Edu-Inventory

The Edu-Inventory system aims to manage and control the Department's property, which provides many advantages for the EduTech top management and the University's employees. The system allows the administrator to control properties by adding and modifying items and their quantities. The system also provides the administrator the ability to manage received request such as loaning property for a limited time. The University's faculty members and employees will be able to review which items in the library are currently available. Depending upon availability, they can borrow the item for a limited time (hours, days) and they can use the system to control and track their requests.

E-Forms

E-forms provides KSAU-HS users with an easy process to submit their requests for services and or support. Simply fill in the form and submit it through the necessary channels for processing.

BlackBoard

Learning Mangment System

Blackboard is the official KSAU-HS Learning Management System integrated with Academic Integrity. As a Web-based course-management system, it allows students and faculty to participate in classes delivered online, use online materials or participate in activities to complement face-to-face teaching. This system has been used by both KSAU-HS students and faculty since 2009.

Real-time feedback features mean instructors aren't left guessing if their lesson is hitting the mark.
Instructors can confidently engage their entire class or provide personal attention through group discussions, one-on-one office hours and every configuration in between.

Blackboard Ally

Course Content Accessibility Tool

Ally is a tool that helps faculty improve the accessibility of course documents. With Ally, students view course documents in a variety of formats that support different learning needs. Ally is integrated into the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS)
Ally automatically measures the accessibility of PDF, Word, OpenOffice, HTML or PowerPoint files uploaded to Blackboard. Ally provides an accessibility score for the file with a visible gauge. The accessibility gauge indicates the degree to which a file meets WCAG2.1 accessibility standards. The gauge icons are visible only to the course instructor and are shown below:

• Low: File is not accessible and requires immediate attention to correct accessibility issues.
• Medium: File is somewhat accessible.  The file could be improved.
• High: File is accessible. There are non-critical issues to be improved.
• Perfect: File is accessible. No improvement needed.

Turnitin

Turnitin is an originality checking and plagiarism prevention service that checks your writing for citation mistakes or inappropriate copying. When you submit your paper, Turnitin compares it to text in its massive database of student work, websites, books, articles, etc.Turnitin is integrated into the Assignments tool in the Blackboard System.

Plagiarism Detection

SafeAssign is a plagiarism prevention service offered by Blackboard. This service helps educators prevent plagiarism by detecting unoriginal content in student papers.

Exam Format Converter Tool

This exam converter allows you to use a test in Microsoft Word, and with minimal re-formatting, converts it into a file that you can upload into Blackboard to create a set of questions for use in exams and quizzes.

The Tests Tool in Blackboard Learn enables faculty to assess the knowledge and skill level of students enrolled in their course. Blackboard offers a wide range of test question types to choose from, many of which can be graded automatically by the system. Faculty always have the option to override the grade assigned by Blackboard.

Assessment Management System

At-Taqyeem is an in-house developed assessment management system to automate the complete lifecycle of the assessment process. It comes with multiple modules like item banking, item search, curriculum management, people management, folder management, paper based and online exams, and exam results.

Symphony

Library Tracking System

SirsiDynix Symphony has been implemented in colleges' libraries. It not only enables our library staff to manage day to day operations of the library but also facilitates the check in and check out services for students to provide them with necessary learning resources (Books, Journals, and Multimedia etc.).
In addition, the system comes with an OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) that can be used by students to search the required books via an online portal without physically visiting the library.

SDL

Saudi Digital Library is a resource for faculty and students, which contains more than 310,000 resources to support educational goals. Established by the National Center for eLearning, SDL is integrated with the University Blackboard System.
